Humble Herbs - Through the Seasons - December

As the seasonal festivities come into full swing the humble kitchen has never been busier. This month is all about family, friends, fun and of course food! Taking us through to new Humble beginnings. I have been very blessed this year, Humble Herbs has taken me to some beautiful places around the world having fun, working and meeting the most amazing people, sharing my passion of bringing herbs to the kitchen with next year looking to be even busier.

Humble Herbs - Through the seasons - November

If we have learnt one thing about the festivities soon upon us, it is to make sure we prepare early. Whether it’s entertaining for a large number of guests, or a small amount of family and friends you can still have fun in the Humble kitchen.

Cranberries make an appearance this month so make the most of them by creating sumptuous sauces in advance ready for the big day. Cranberries with a hint of lemon thyme and lemon juice with added sugar make a great Cranberry sauce or compote to accompany desserts.

Humble Herbs Through the Seasons - October

Creating dishes in the Humble Kitchen this time of year is simply beautiful. As the nights draw in, cook sumptious delights using seasonal pumpkins, squashes and game. Root vegetables such as carrotts and cabbages are also more plentyful this month bringing bright colours to the table.
